Kochi Prefecture's climate is ideal for growing citrus fruits. Onshu mandarin oranges are juicy, with a blend of refreshing sweetness and acidity. They have a delicate, thin peel. The main harvest season for mandarin oranges cultivated in greenhouses is from May to September. The harvest season for outdoor cultivation is October to December.
